On medium swells (4 to 6 ft), it produces fast, steep walls ideal for roundhouse cutbacks and speed runs. When huge winter Atlantic groundswells hit (8 to 15+ ft), Anchor connects through three distinct sections into a 500-meter leg-burning machine with heavy hollow barrel sections.

4. Banana Beach & Banana Point (Tamraght)

5. Hash Point: The Lazy Village Point

Legend has it that Hash Point got its name because surfers who relaxed a little too much with local herbal tea only had the energy to walk down to this wave right in the center of Taghazout. When a solid swell wraps around Anchor Point, Hash Point wakes up with fast, punchy right-hand peelers breaking over sand and flat boulders directly in front of the village waterfront.

6. Mysteries: Hollow Reef Right

Just 150 meters north of Anchor Point lies Mysteries. A shallower reef break, Mysteries catches slightly more swell than Anchor and offers shorter, hollower, and more explosive barrel sections over a shallow rock shelf. Best at low tide for quick tuberiding.

7. La Source: Playful A-Frame Peaks
